What do I need for VoIP?
To use Voice over IP technology, you would need the following-
A computer network - Cat5, 10/100BaseT standard network cabling
Connection to the internet, via ADSL or SDSL broadband or using a leased line
A VoIP PBX and Handsets, or Featureplus Soho connection
Connection to a VoIP provider, such as 2CanCall®
We also recommend the following when using a full VoIP PBX system-
Router with Quality of Service (QoS) to maintain voice quality
Managed network switch with QoS
Dedicated internet connection via broadband or leased line (i.e. not shared with computers)
2CanCall® iPBX system
Backup connection to a PSTN landline
Snom Handsets as required
Please note that these are minimum requirements only.
